Entry bans are most often<br \/>\nissued to persons from the so-called third countries for a period of 6 months to 20<br \/>\nyears. In cooperation with the Bundeskriminalamt (Federal Criminal Police Office<br \/>\nof Germany), we have been successfully participating in administrative proceedings<br \/>\nbefore the competent federal authority for many years. Also, to exercise the right to<br \/>\nfreedom of movement for the benefit of our clients, we submit requests for the<br \/>\ncancellation of the imposed bans on entering the Schengen area. Sometimes the entry ban can last longer or<br \/>\nshorter. The decision states how long the entry ban lasts. This depends on your<br \/>\nsituation:<br \/>\n1 year: for exceeding 3 to 90 days.<br \/>\n2 years: the usual period (for example for an overdraft of more than 90 days).<br \/>\n10 years: if you pose a risk to public order.<br \/>\n20 years: if you pose a risk to public order and national security.<br \/>\nWhen does the ban start to run?<br \/>\nYour period of ineligibility takes effect:<br \/>\nThe day (date) you actually leave the EU, EEA, or Switzerland;<br \/>\nThe day (date) you return to another EU or EEA country or Switzerland if you are<br \/>\nallowed to live there.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>The end of the entry ban<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Has the no-entry period expired and have you followed the no-entry rules?
